67 Coupe (barn)
68 Convertible (runs!)
68 High Country Special (lots of new and NOS parts, even a freshened hi-po optioned 289 on the stand...for 9+ years now)
My brother loved few things more than his Grandpa... Grandpa A bought this green coupe new as the last demo while he worked at a local Ford dealer. GRnadpa then drove it daily for 25 years. D2 loved taking rides in it and we'd really like to see it back on the road someday, but it's been sitting in a barn, literally, for decades. The HCS was kind of lucked upon and had the best chance of being a finished 'project.' Dad and D2 pulled it all apart and de-ghetto'd it. The HCS was hiding under CS/GT livery and airbrushed unicorns and crap. Seriously. Bad magenta metallic flake, I'll put some pics up sometime. They were planning to return it to 'like' new, and there are many, many parts in boxes. It's a great, unique car that we need to get done, but it's literally a shell (painted!) with carpet (new!) sitting inside. I know that neither of us could put it together in a timely matter, even if we had umpteen time. But... we'll think of something...

woodies...
49~51 Ford Country Squire Wagons (yes, wagon(s))
I windsurf and have admired the coastal CA life forever... Didn't take much to grow a passion for the original surfer mobiles. Helped that my skateboard craze also enabled this interest with the Jimmy'z trend. The logo is my woody. www.Jimmyzworld.com
Dad and I found a runner in central coast wine country, with poor wood and interior. Bought it, trailered it home and astonished friends and neighbors as we drove it through the neighborhood. Immediately, he and I started pulling it apart to work on it. But, it needed a bunch of stuff. Hard to find stuff. Unless you could just pull it off, say, another like car.... Luckily we had also found a guy with TWO more woodies, not running, that wanted to be rid of them. We brought those to grandpa's barn. The body needed this and that and soon I found Dad spending weeks on priming and sanding the door sills... Seriously!? This is NOT cool or fun. Progress was measured in weeks, to which none of us could see much of a difference. Nothing shorter than a youth's patience.

LandCruiser...
My wife is also known as the "CarKiller." So when she drove the borrowed LC over the San Mateo bridge one day, it came as only a little surprise that it would go up in flames. Literally. In the middle of the bridge. Truth be told, it was rather karmic, as I had inadvertently killed her car years prior. (OIL light... checked ATF... never owned an automatic before... sigh...)
This, of course, occurred after the original motor had been moved over to a more modern engine. Electronic fuel injection, loses the fancy CHOKE pull function. Why swap to Chevy? Took much longer and much more money than expected, but in the end... well, it still basically sucked. Gas. Big time. Chevy 350 Suburban/Tahoe implant. Fuel gauge, tach no longer functional. It could pull the boat more easily though. It s running the same way and is in need of new ownership, becaus eit basically just sits for now.

Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4
I plead with dad NOT to buy this car. But he loved it. Everything about it. The JDM wings and plastic interior. It was his commuter.
Pearl white on tan. I only drove it a couple times... and was shocked. It hauls ass. Period. Super heavy clutch, a bear to handle, hard to see out of and eats tires for snacks. But, it hauls ass.
It too will need a new owner... D2 driving on occasion... but was a joy for Dad and served it's duty well...

More / Others...
Older Powerboat, Old SUV, Old Caddy, Old B310 KingCab, pickup, newer wagons...
There are more, but that'll suffice for now.
The point is, his Tiger was not a "Project" per se, as the other projects were fresher and apart and in need of overhaul. In his, and our minds, the Tiger 'just needed a little attention.' That would have been true decades ago. But now it certainly qualifies as a Project. But, it is mostly together. this gives us the chance to take it apart and document it, so we can figure out how to get it back together... that's the plan...
That and some freshening.
