Partial...um... Now Full Restoration now in progress...

I'm sure that's familiar territory for anyone with an older car... Continuous restoration...  The members of the California Association of Tiger Owners, aka C.A.T., have a great forum I've been able to glean restoration information from at the link here.  Bill Martin at Rootes Group Depot has been extremely helpful and too generous with time; I'm planning on taking much more of his time though. Lupe Garcia and his staff (thanks to Adrian!) at G & R Performance has also been great!

Thanks also to ANYONE offering any suggestions going through this...

Sept. 9: Door Card and Pulls

#10 Garage Run...  3-4 carburetors... luggage rack... heads from 1978 (which match nothing)

#9 Fan / Water Pump / Remote Oil Cooler Removal (7/5ish)
#8 Radiator / Heater Core Reconditioning (7/3)
Radiator and heater core dropped at Howard Radiator for boiling and rod, repair (if necessary).  Forgot the coolant expansion tank...
#7 Brake Booster, Generator, Ignition coil, Heater Valve Removal (7/2)
Beyond the point of no return at this point.  Realizing that the car will need very serious help and so it's time to pull everything out of the engine bay.  It's tough because the economic side of me still thinks "I bet this thing would run if we just..."  But, none of us would want something to fail in motion.  Better to pull it and start from scratch.
#6 Engine Block Identification / IM status
Before figuring out next steps with powerplant, need to know exactly what block is in there.  And review the intake manifold sealing after removal.  Also took a few pics of surrounding area because I'm down there. Thanks to Bill@RGD for the continued push for info...
#5 Intake Manifold / Distributor
An attempt to ID the motor and review what is under there.
#4 Heater Core / Hood Latch removal
#3:  Radiator Removal
The Tiger often had cooling issues and was last seen running with white smoke.  Could be anything (gaskets, cylinder walls, etc) but might as well pull the cooling system for a purge at the minimum.  Plenty of goop in there proves this was necessary.
#2 Fuel crossover pipe removal and coolant reservoir removal
Day #1  Fuel Tank(s) Removal

Two tanks, located on either side of trunk.  Not only are they likely dry, but the original tanks were known to allow paint from the inside to peel off and clog the fuel system.  We'll take them out and have them bathed and ready for re-install via a local radiator shop.
